The UAE’s Ambassador to Pakistan just gifted a house to the fruit lady of Islamabad

Yasmeen is now at peace as her children would be able to sleep comfortably

Yasmeen, the lady who sells fruits to make living for her children in Islamabad has been gifted a fully furnished house by the kindhearted UAE’s Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi.

The keys to the house have been handed to Yasmeen just before the month of Ramazan begins.

Yasmeen has been selling fruits in the streets of Islamabad for the past six years in order to support her children. Her efforts were recognized by the citizens and the Embassy of UAE just a few months ago when her pictures had appeared on social media.

Just a few days ago, however, she was selling her fruits while the UAE ambassador’s vehicle crossed by her cart and it immediately caught the attention of the envoy.

The ambassador stopped and had a casual chat with Yasmeen and asked her how many children she had and what compelled her to sell vegetables on the street.

Just after a few days, the envoy returned to her and surprised her with a fully furnished house.

Yasmeen now says that she is at peace since her children will finally be able to comfortably sleep with a roof over their heads.

It is inspiring to see how a woman who started six years ago with nothing is now able to feed her children and even send them to school.

And it is also inspiring to see how the citizens of Islamabad brought her story to the Social Media where she received recognition and the help that followed.
