Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder aircraft wowed everyone at the Zhuhai Air Show in China

The aircraft performed at the opening ceremony of the ongoing airshow

A large number of delegations from different countries including Cheif of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan of Pakistan Air Force witness the stunning performance of Pakistan’s very own JF-17 Thunder Aircraft.

Personnel from PAF put up a stunning show which was part of the opening ceremony of the Zhuhai Air Show 2018 being held in China.

A Pakistan Pavilion has been set up at the airshow where PAF contingent is participating. The pavilion was visited by the Air Chief who appreciated the performance of the personnel.

The JF-17 Thunder aircraft is also being displayed at the airshow. A complete crew and pilots are stationed at the static display to talk about the aircraft with visitors.

AIR CHIEF ATTENDS THE OPENING CEREMONY OF ZHUHAI AIR SHOWAir Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force attended the opening ceremony of Zhuhai Air Show-2018. A large number of delegations from different countries were also present at the occasion. Air Chief along with other high ranking officials and dignitaries witnessed the stunning aerial display of ‘Pride of Pakistan’ JF-17 Thunder aircraft.The Air Chief visited the Pakistan Pavilion, being set up by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra, where he interacted with the PAF contingent participating in the show. He appreciated the performance of PAF personnel in the show and said that the participation of Pakistan Air Force in this Air Show is a matter of pride for the nation. He also visited the static display of JF-17 Thunder aircraft where he met the pilots and ground crew and lauded their performance during the show.Availing the opportunity, the air chief also met with the air chiefs of other air forces and discussed with them matters of professional interest.The Air Chief also called on Lieutenant General Ding Laihang, Commander Peoples Liberation Army (Air Force). Both the dignitaries agreed to further enhance the mutual cooperation in training and capability enhancement between the two friendly air forces. China’s Hongying Aerobatic Team Makes Debut at Zhuhai Air ShowChina's Hongying Aerobatic Team made its first appearance at the 12th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), which kicked off in Zhuhai City of south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday. Established in 2011, the aerobatic team "Hongying", meaning Red Eagle, from Aviation University of People's Liberation Army Air Force, sent eight K-8 trainer aircrafts to perform a series of aerobatic stunts at the event. During the show, the Hongying Aerobatics Team performed a variety of formations including flying eights, seven and six aircrafts and also did many aerobatic feats using four, three, two and even single aircrafts. The performances contained 16 groups of actions including diving, rotating and circling. Various other stalls by armies of several countries are also present at the airshow. The Air Chief also visited these stalls and met with many of the high-ranking officers of these armies.

Apart from JF-Thunder 17, China’s Hongying Aerobatic team also debuted at the air show. The team was established in 2011 but this was their first appearance at China’s most prestigious airshow.
