The 2019 Cricket World Cup Trophy has finally arrived in Lahore as part of its world tour.
The Garrard-made trophy will spend six days in Pakistan and will travel to three cities; Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.
For anyone in Lahore, the trophy can be seen at the Gaddafi Stadium. As soon as the trophy reached Lahore today, it also went on a little parade across the city on Lahore’s tour bus with Muhammad Irfan and other cricketers present.
The parade tour started from the Gaddafi Stadium and will end at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
The trophy will now head to Islamabad in two days time, and will finally end its tour in Karachi where it will be available from October 7.
The World Cup Trophy Tour
The World Cup Trophy tour began on the 27th of August from the headquarters of ICC in Dubai. It will be touring around the world for the next nine months.
The trophy will be touring to countries which play international cricket as well as countries where cricket fans are present. This includes 21 countries across the globe with 60 cities where the trophy will be displayed.
