Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 becomes the highest grossing Pakistani film ever

The multi-starrer epic Pakistani comedy, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 has just secured itself the top spot in the Pakistani box office.

The film has earned Rs. 53 crores to become the highest grossing film in Pakistan. JPNA 2 surpassed the Rs. 51.65 crores barrier set by Punjab Nahi Jaungi during the weekend.

JPNA 2 has earned this much in only 20 days of business. The film was released worldwide on Eid-Ul-Azha along-side Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat’s Load Wedding and Hamza Ali Abbasi and Hania Amir’s Parwaaz Hai Junoon.

After 20 days of release, it is clear who has been prominent in the box office. In its third week of business, Nadeem Baig’s sequel to the third highest grossing film of Pakistan, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani had already amassed 14.71 crores overseas and 36.12 crores locally, collecting a total of 50 crores in just 18 days.

Film Parwaaz Hai Junoon, on the other hand, has been able to amass Rs. 28.12 crores in the box office while Load wedding stands at RS. 15.20 crores.
