The Cricket World Cup 2019 trophy is coming to Pakistan on the 3rd of October

ICC has just launched the Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour sponsored by Nissan. The trophy tour began yesterday where it was displayed at the ICC headquarters in Dubai.

It will now be making its way to other participating countries before reaching Pakistan on the 3rd of October. The trophy will be staying in Pakistan for 10 days and will be displayed in three major cities of the country including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

The ICC World Cup Trophy will first arrive at the headquarters of PCB on the 3rd of October in Lahore. There it will spend 3 days touring the landmarks of the city before leaving for Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

It will arrive in the twin cities on the 6th of October and will stay there for two days before leaving for Karachi.

In Karachi, you will be able to see the trophy at various landmarks of the city throughout October 9 – October 12. It will then fly out to its next destination.

The Cricket World Cup trophy will be visiting 21 countries across the globe and will be displayed in over 60 cities. This is being labeled as the largest trophy tour ever for a Cricket World Cup Trophy.

The trophy was unveiled three months ago by ICC at an event held in London.

In addition of unveiling the trophy, ICC has already released the full schedule of the world cup.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will kick off on the 30th of May, 2019 with England facing South Africa at The Oval, London, followed by Pakistan Vs. West Indies in Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
