The annual worldwide photography competition ‘Wiki Loves Earth’ is back this year and the organizers Wikimedia has just revealed the 10 shortlisted photos from Pakistan.
This year over 7,600 photographers from 32 countries are participating in the competition. About 1,250 participants are from Pakistan and they have submitted more than 8,500 photos.
Wikimedia has revealed that around 90,000 photos altogether were submitted for the competition with Pakistan boasting the highest participant tally.
The 10 Pakistani photos shortlisted by Wikimedia can be seen below:

Pakistan won the Wiki Loves Earth competition in 2015
In 2015, a photo of the Lower Kachura Lake by Zaeemsiddiq made the entire country proud when it emerged victorious in the 2015 edition of Wiki Loves Earth.
This was the second time the competition was being held and about 26 countries participated by submitting more than 100,000 pictures.
