PIA is bringing back its popular Air-Safari flight services

During the mid-2000s, PIA’s Air Safari Flight was one of the most popular ways to explore the high peaks of Pakistan. The flight which cost a mere RS. 7000 back in 2007 would take you on a journey to explore the Karakoram, K2 and other northern areas.

But given to decline in foreign tourists in Pakistan due to security reasons, the flights were halted. They were brought back in 2011 but were again halted due to less demand.

With Pakistan witnessing a huge surplus in yearly tourists to the country, the airline is set to bring back its popular Air Safari flight services yet again.

PIA posted a video on social media teasing the flight and announcing that the services will begin starting July 16th. Here’s what the national carrier of Pakistan had to say:

The wait is over!! This summer, PIA Air Safari is taking you on a trip of a lifetime, where you will see the majestic K2 and mesmerizing Nanga Parbat!! Don’t miss out a chance to see the top of the world. #PIA #AirSafari

Where will the flight take you?

According to several picture posts by PIA, the airline is expected to take you on a journey where you will be able to see the highest peaks of Pakistan. The destinations teased so far include K2, Trango Towers, Baltoro Glacier, and Deosai Plains.
