Pakistan’s only all-time famous Mercedes Pullman 600 Grosser has been fully repaired and restored. This vehicle was often given to huge celebrities and politicians of various countries in the 1970s.
In Pakistan, the Pullman was used by former PM Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and President Zia-Ul-Haq.
Recently the car was being auctioned off but its auction was called off by the order of Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Justice Nasirul Mulk who also ordered the vehicle be fully restored and kept in a museum.
Now the vehicle has been completely restored and has been put on display in the Pakistan Monument Museum, Islamabad. Check the images below of the restored vehicle in its full glory.

The Mercedes Pullman 600 Grosser is one of the most famous classic cars of the world. As mentioned earlier, it was used by celebrities and politicians from around the world.
Only 304 units of this high-end luxury car were ever built and Pakistan owns one of them. The Pakistani edition of the Pullman is also a bit different from the rest of the units.
This edition of the Pullman is Right Hand Drive (RHD) unit while most of the other units were strictly Left Hand Driven. Only 39 RHD units were made in the world.
The term ‘Grosser’ simply means ‘Big’ in German. The vehicle is equipped with a 6.3-litre V8 engine that can produce 250 horsepower at 4000 rpm and 500 nm of torque at 2800 rpm.
