Pakistan’s first female MMA athlete set to debut at ‘One Warrior’ Singapore

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is steadily becoming popular day by day in Pakistan and a number of new fighters have surfaced in the country.

One of them is Pakistan’s first female MMA athlete Anita Karim. Hailing from Hunza, Anita Karim is a rising MMA star in Pakistan who has shown significant progress by winning two gold medals at this year’s Pakistan Grappling Challenge (PGC).

Now she is gearing up for her international debut at the One Warrior Series in Singapore.

Anita will be facing New Zealand’s Nyrene Crowley who has already won two fights at the international level. The match will take place on the 19th of July, 2018.

Anita’s opponent Nyrene Crowley

Much like Anita Karim, Nyrene Crowley is a new and rising star in female MMA scene. At 5.2”, 115 LBS, Crowley has already won two of her matches.

Her first victory was at the Glory of Heroes – Rise of Heroes 7 against Xue Wang from China. She won her first match in just 1:36 through submission.

She won her second match at the One Championship OWS: One Warrior Series 1 against South Korea’s So Yul Kim. She won her second match in 5:00 through a decision.

Will Nyrene be able to continue her 2 win streak against Pakistan’s Anita Karim? We’ll have to wait and watch.
