The biggest military air show in the world, the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) concluded yesterday in the UK. The air show broke a record by attracting 185,000 people, the biggest attendance ever for the show.
In total, about 302 aircraft from 43 air arms representing 30 nations took part in the show out of which 121 did a flying display.
Pakistan’s very own PAF C-130, the No.6 Squadron Hercules also took part in the show along with its ground and aircrew. PAF’s chief Mujahid Anwar Khan was also present at the venue to witness the display of various aircraft.

PAF highlights at RIAT 2018
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C-130 aircraft No. 6 Squadron Hercules attended the show dressed in colorful tattoos.
Although the official winners of the tattoo show haven’t been announced, initial unconfirmed reports suggest that PAF was awarded the 2nd position.
RIAT 2018 picture highlights
The show had a massive 302 aircraft from around the world participating in it. Amongst the flying display were 617 Dambusters, F-35B Lightning II, RAF Typhoons, US Air Force Heritage Flight, Ukrainian Su-27 Flanker, Royal Canadian Air Force CF-188 Hornet, French Aeronavale Rafale M duo, and many more.
