Lahore Qalandars to begin talent hunt with Jazz next week in preparation of PSL season 4

The trials of the Jazz rising stars cricket tournament will be held in eight different regions of Pakistan

Lahore Qalandars, one of the franchises of Pakistan Super League is set to inaugurate its yearly Jazz Rising Stars Cricket Tournament on the 2nd of June ahead of preparations for the upcoming season 4 of PSL.

The trials of the tournament will be held from June 27 to August 18. These trials will be held in 8 different regions of Pakistan including new areas such as FATA.

Last year Lahore Qalandars took their trials to Azad Jammu Kashmir where they were successfully able to recruit Salman Arshad who was a force to be reckoned with during the 3rd edition of PSL.

Although Lahore Qalandars was unable to perform well in PSL 3 and did not manage to climb the ladder from the last position again, the management was still able to bring real good talent to the forefront such as Shaheen Shah Afridi and Salman Arshad.

Once the talent has been picked and selected, Lahore Qalandars will once again be sending off 16 players to play internationally to showcase their potential.

Last year the 16 players picked from the talent hunt were sent to Australia where they played against Sydney Sixers, Hobart Hurricanes, and Sydney Thunders.
