This woman from U.S started a crowdfunding campaign to help reunite with husband in Pakistan

U.S citizen Regan Anderson is trying to raise $2,000 (approx PKR 231,449) in order to travel to Pakistan and reunite with her husband.

Regan and Umer Ali recently married each other when Umer was visiting the United States for his sister’s wedding. The two tied the knot there but Umer had to immediately return to Pakistan to pursue his studies in Pharmacology from Ziauddin Medical University, Karachi.

Unable to save enough money, Regan now hopes to raise enough money through crowdfunding so she can go to Karachi and meet Umer and his family. The two also plan a traditional wedding ceremony when she reaches Pakistan.

Regan is an owner of a small business in Dallas. She is a creative director who organizes small art shows. Although she is trying hard to save money by doing two jobs together, she started crowdfunding campaign so she can reach Karachi in time for her husband’s graduation.

On the other hand, her husband Ali is also playing his part in raising the funds. In his extra time, Ali gives private tuitions and works as an independent artist.

Regan plans to stay in Karachi for three months where she also intends to organize an art show similar to the shows she does at home.
