After nearly a month of matches in Dubai, Sharjah and the two playoffs in Lahore, it has come down to the final showdown, the PSL final.
The PSL final will be held in Karachi and this will mark the return of international cricket in Karachi after many, many years. Due to the long hiatus, the National Stadium Karachi had suffered damage and was not suitable for any international match.
But PCB made sure that the stadium would be ready by the time the final took place in the city and worked day and night to complete the renovations.
Today the renovations are finally complete and the stadium and city are both ready to welcome back international cricket.
During the renovation phase, the National Stadium Karachi went through a full makeover. The enclosures were upgraded with new seats by replacing the old and broken ones, new pitches were made, the grass was added to the stadium, the shades which were broken and battered were repaired and the overall stadium was repaired and recolored to beautify it.
Now it is ready to host the final of PSL which will take place on 25th March between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi starting at 6:00 PM onwards.
