Post offices around the country will now also serve as CNIC registration centers

People living in Rural areas of Pakistan will no longer need to travel hundreds of kilometers just to register for CNIC

NADRA has just made life easier for Pakistani citizens living in Rural areas. The National Database and Registration Authority have just signed an agreement with Pakistan Post Office which will allow post offices around the country to also serve as CNIC registration hubs.

For a very long time, people from rural areas of Pakistan had to travel to their nearest city to avail CNIC registration services of NADRA. It was not only time consuming but was also a pain for people who had to travel hours away from home.

With the new agreement now in place, anyone can head to a post office and avail CNIC registration services from a specialized counter dedicated to NADRA services.

Currently, there are only 200 post offices spread across Pakistan that support this new move by NADRA and Post Office. But every bit possible efforts are being made to cover more cities and villages across the country.

Lesser ques, faster registration

Another huge benefit of the agreement between the two organization is that there are now more places where you can register for a CNIC.

With more registration counters available across the country, there will be fewer ques meaning you’ll be able to register for CNICs faster than ever.
