The official FIFA World Cup 2018 trophy has landed in Pakistan

The wait is over! The official trophy of FIFA World Cup 2018 has just landed in Pakistan and is ready to be displayed at  Lake City Golf and Country Club Lahore during Coca-Cola food and music festival.

The trophy which is currently on tour of the world and will be visiting 91 cities across 51 countries and six continents before the world cup begins in Russia in May was brought to Pakistan from Thailand in a private jet.

A bunch of Pakistani celebrities including Quratulain Baloch, Maya Ali, Momina Mustehsan, Younis Khan, and former French World Cup Winner Christian Karembeu brought the trophy home today.

The FIFA World Cup trophy will remain in Lahore for one day and can be seen in person at the Coke Fest being held in the city from 4 PM until 10 PM.

It is made with 18-Carat Gold and weighs about 6.142. It is a lifetime opportunity for the fans of witness the trophy first-hand today.

The global tour of the FIFA World Cup Trophy started in London, the United Kingdom on January 22. The tour will be finished with the trophy being displayed in Tokyo, Japan on April 30, just a month away from the World Cup which will be held in Russia on June 14.
