The third edition of Pakistan Super League is just nine days away from starting and the six franchises of the tournament are preparing themselves in full swing to take on each other in the biggest cricketing event of Pakistan in 2018.
The six franchises, namely Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars have already started promotional events to create hype for the tournament.
While the promotions are in full swing, Lahore Qalandars are hoping to win the tournament, or at least perform better after their miserable performances in the first two editions of the league, visited Data Darbar in Lahore for divine inspiration.
Team members Yasir Shah, Umar Akmal, Fakhar Zaman along with other members of the team and franchise owner Fawad Rana all visited the Darbar together to pray for good performance in the upcoming tournament.
In both season 1 and season 2 of Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars was the weakest team on the points table. In the first season, the Qalandars only won 2 matches out of 8 played finishing last with 4 points.
In the second season, Lahore Qalandars only won 3 matches out of 8 played finishing at the last spot with 6 points.
Can a visit to the great Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh’s darbar help Qalandars win PSL 3?
