The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation has just launched the Islamabad City Tour Bus Service in the capital city of Pakistan.
Similar to the tour bus service launched in Lahore last year, the tour bus will encourage and promote tourism in the Federal Capital of Pakistan.
Throughout the seven days of the week, buses will operate on different routes covering locations of Islamabad and Pindi including Rawal Lake, F-9 Park, Faisal Mosque, Islamabad National Zoo, Children Park, Lok Virsa and as well as Ayub National Park in Rawalpindi.
On weekends, the bus will also take citizens to the Taxila Museum.
The bus service was launched by PTDC through a grand inauguration ceremony held last week. The busses and minivans are now fully operational and ready to take people on the tour of the capital city.
Unfortunately though, unlike the Lahore bus service which has double-decker buses, the Islamabad bus tour service only has commercial coaches. But it is still a step towards positivity in Pakistan. The buses are ideal for anyone who is out from Islamabad and wishes to see everything in Islamabad in a short period of time.
