Here’s everything that went down at PSL 3 draft

The mega event was attended by big cricketing names and Pakistani celebrities

The third edition of the massively successful and popular Pakistan Super League is nearly upon us. The management of PSL held the final players draft over on 12 November in National Cricket Academy Lahore.

All six franchises of the league Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi picked their respective players.

There were as many as 475 cricketers up for the draft and featured cricketers from around the world, minus India. The draft started with Lahore Qalandars picking their players in the Platinum category followed by Islamabad United and the rest of the franchises.

The mega event was attended by some of the biggest names in the cricketing world of Pakistan as well as Pakistani celebrities such as Mahira Khan, Momina Mustehsan and more.

Along with big names from the cricketing world, many celebrities were also present at the mega event. Mahira Khan alongside the team for her upcoming movie ‘Verna’ was also present to promote their film.


PSL season 3 matches to be held in Karachi

During the PSL draft, Najam Sethi announced that PSL is the league that will help bring cricket back home. The league has already helped Pakistan host 2 international events in Lahore and now it will help Pakistan hold cricket events in Karachi.

The PCB chief assured that the management is trying its best to secure as many as 4 matches of the league to be held in Pakistan including Karachi.
