American-Pakistani Sister Duo Krewella is headed to Pakistan next month

Pakistani fans of Electronic Dance Music will have something huge to look forward to in December. The extremely popular American EDM duo Krewella who has headlined many EDM festivals around the world has just announced that they will be performing in Pakistan for the first time in history.

Krewella consists of two sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf who have their roots in Pakistan. They are even seen wearing clothes with ‘Pakistan’ written in various of their videos and performances.

The duo announced their plans to visit Pakistan through their official Facebook page. Currently, information on tickets and in which city they will perform is unavailable.

More about Krewella

Krewella was formed in 2007 and consisted of three members, the sisters Jahan and Yasmin and producer Kris ‘Rain Man’ Trindi. Trindi left the group in 2014 but Krewella continued to highlight many Electric Dance Music festivals around the world.

Their music is best described as a blend of self-produced electro house and dubstep having many influences from other electronic dance music styles.

The duo’s performance at the Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and more earned them international Dance Music Award for ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’. They have been declared a duo ‘that will be huge’ by Billboard.

Krewella has also released a studio album titled ‘Get Wet’ which received international recognition. The album peaked at first position in the US Dance charts.
