UK’s Red Arrows set to perform in Pakistan at Karachi Air Show

Karachi, are you ready to see your skies turned red with fighter jets whooshing through the skies over Sea View Road?

To celebrate 70 years of friendship between Pakistan and the UK, The esteemed UK’s Red Arrows are set to perform at tomorrow’s air show in Karachi. This will their first performance in Pakistan since almost after 20 years.

The airshow will begin at approximately 1:30 PM on Sea View Road Karachi on Oct 5. The performance will also include Pakistan’s very own JF-17 Thunder Aircraft.

The Red Arrows is one of the most popular and respected aerobatic display teams. The members of the team are considered to be the public face of the Royal Air Force (RAF).

The last time the Red Arrows performed in Pakistan was in Islamabad in 1997.

The team is currently on five-week overseas deployment mission where they are demonstrating their skills to celebrate close ties with allied countries.

The Red Arrows have already performed in France, Greece, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait while on this tour. Now they are heading their way to Pakistan after which they will go to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia before returning home.

Location and Schedule of Red Arrows performance

The Red Arrows will be performing in Karachi as part of October 5, 2017, Karachi Airshow hosted by Pakistan Air Force. The Airshow will be open to the public for free. The show is expected to begin at 1:30 PM on Sea View Road, Karachi.
