The Centaurus mall in Islamabad has become the first ever to exhibit Islamic holy artifacts including the Ghilaaf-e-Kaba and Parda Baab-ul-Kaba with the help of Embassy of Saudia Arabia.
The exhibition was inaugurated today and will be held inside the mall on the first floor for the next 10 days. The Parda Bab-ul-Kaba is being displayed as 5.1 meters long and 3 meters wide with gold plated and embossed calligraphy of the Quranic verses.
The Ghilaaf-e-Kab, on the other hand, is being displayed as 20 meters long and 6 meters wide alongside other artifacts in the exhibition.
The inauguration of the exhibition took place today and was attended by Chairman PML(N) Raja Zafar Ul Haq as the chief guest. The ceremony was also attended by the Saudi Deputy Ambassador, various diplomats, media icons, His Excellence Marwan ur Midad and the ICT administration.
This exhibition was made possible by the President of Sardar Group of Companies, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan who offered The Centaurus Mall for the display of these holy artifacts.
This is the first of a kind exhibition in Pakistan allowing the citizens to view first hand the holy artifacts which they have never gotten the chance to witness outside the holy places.
