Rumman Raees, the Pakistani fast bowler best known for his performances in Pakistan Super League’s Islamabad United and the recently won Champion’s Trophy has just tied the knot.
The 25-year-old cricketer took his baraat from Gulshan-e-Usman Society in Karachi to Gulistan-e-Johar where the bride’s family was hosting the ceremony.
Several cricketing celebrities including the Pakistan International Cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed were guests at the wedding ceremony of Rumman.
Rumman Raees is the only brother amongst his four sisters. His walima ceremony took place yesterday. Speaking to friends and family, Rumman Raaes assured that his marriage won’t affect his career in cricket.
The cricketer will immediately report back to PCB after the ceremonies are complete. He will then be taking part in the upcoming Independence Cup which is bringing back international cricket to Pakistan and is scheduled to start on September 12.
