PCB Reveals World XI Team players to visit Pakistan next month

The series will start on September 12

Earlier this year, ICC announced that they would be sending World XI to Pakistan in 2017. Today that moment is nearing as the World XI prepares to head to Pakistan next month.

Up till now, PCB and ICC had not released the list of players heading to Lahore. But today, in a press conference, Najam Sethi, the chair person of Pakistan Super League finally revealed the 11 international cricket players heading to Pakistan next month.

Confirmed World XI Team Players heading to Pakistan

The World XI team consists of many top cricketers from 7 different countries. The team includes 5 players from South Africa, 2 from West Indies, 3 from Australia and 1 player each from Siri Lanka, Bangladesh, and England. The team will be captained by Faf Du Plessis from South Africa.

Pakistan Team to play against World XI

As far as our international cricket team goes, the team roster has not been revealed. However, from the Press conference today, we have found out that Shahid Afridi will not be a part of this event.

World XI vs. Pakistan Ticket Prices, Venue details, and Timing

The 3 cricket matches will be played in Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium on the 12, 13 and 15th of September. The ticketing prices for the cricket matches have not yet been revealed.
