Careem’s ever daring and bold marketing campaigns have introduced some really fresh ideas albeit being a bit crazy.
Just recently the ride hailing company had set the entire social media of Pakistan on fire when it introduced a ‘Rishta Aunty’ service. The service may have been short lived, but it did get them a lot of attention.
Now just a couple of weeks ago Careem was experimenting with planes and we thought it couldn’t get any better than this until everyone came across this.
The teaser image was uploaded just 2 days ago and call us skeptics, but we knew something wild and crazy was coming. Today Careem finally revealed what they were up to.
Careem ‘Bakra on Wheels’ service launched for Eid-Ul-Azha
The new service allows Careem users to book a special ride on the app which in return brings a truck load of goats to their door step where they can purchase a goat for Eid.
The offer is only valid for Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. And all the goats are also sold at a fixed price basis.
The fixed price for bakra’s are different in each city:
- Lahore – RS. 30,000
- Karachi – RS. 27,000
- Islamabad – RS. 25,000
Careem partners with Goats For Water
For the newly introduced service, ‘Bakra on Wheels’ Careem partnered with ‘Goats for Water’, an organization that is providing Solar Water pumps and solar lighting systems to rural areas of Pakistan.
In return for providing them these facilities, GOW takes a bit of their livestock.
