PIA adds Boeing 777-300ER to their fleet

PIA is often in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. But recently the company is changing its face and is getting better at what they do best, serving customers from Pakistan and around the world with quality services.

To show their commitment towards being an improved company, they are taking small positive steps one by one. Today the PIA fleet welcomed the Boeing 777-300 to its fleet.

The Boeing is capable of serving up to 396 passengers in two class seatings and can reach a maximum speed of 950KM/h. Boeing 777-300ER is a very high-end air plane that is part of many international airlines.

The chief information officer, Mr. Azhar Nawaz was present at the occasion to inspect the new air craft addition.


According to PIA, the air craft will start serving customers very soon.

The Boeing 777-300ER is a long range, twin engine and twin aisle jet produced by  Boeing. The aircraft is often referred to as the Triple Seven because it was the first ever commercial aircraft to be entirely designed by computer.

The 777-300ER features a long body with extended and raked wingtips, reinforced nose gear, new landing gear and extra fuel tanks. It is also one of the few aircraft that provides excellent fuel efficiency.
