Daewoo Express expands its fleet with new Daewoo Dragon buses

About as many as 40 new luxury buses have already started operations in Pakistan

Committed to providing unparalleled and excellent services to its customers, Daewoo Pakistan has just added 40 new luxury buses to its fleet. These buses were delivered to Daewoo by Permval limited, a Chinese company.

To commemorate the launch of the new buses, a bus handover ceremony was held at the Royal Palm & Golf Country Club, Lahore where the senior officials of both the companies were present to address the press and attendees.

The buses have been specifically manufactured for Daewoo and are called the Daewoo Dragon buses. They were developed in a standalone assembly line which produces buses for Europe. The buses are equipped with a 380 HP Tuchai 10.L Euro-III compliant diesel engine.


The Daewoo Dragon buses are the first of their kind in Pakistan with a 12.7-meter long body having 45 seat capacity inside. With its long body, the buses are able to also provide better leg room for passengers.

The Golden Dragon buses are known throughout the world to be one of the best buses in the coach industry.

During the handover ceremony, the CEO of Daewoo Pakistan confirmed that the new buses will start serving customers immediately. The buses will be operating from Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
