Xbox One X Vs. PS4 PRO

The Microsoft Xbox One X is being called the most powerful console alive at the moment. But how much of that statement is true? Let’s compare its most valuable specifications with that of the currently most powerful console the PS4 Pro.

Processors

  • XBox One X – Custom CPU at 2.3 GHZ
  • PS4 Pro – Custom CPU 2.1 GHZ

Graphical power

  • XBox One X – 6 teraflops of graphical power
  • PS4 Pro – 4.2 teraflops of graphical power

RAM

  • XBox One X – 12 GB GDDR5
  • PS4 Pro – 8 GB GDDR5

Price

  • Xbox One X – $499 (aprx 50,000 PKR)
  • PS4 Pro – $399 (aprx 40,000 PKR)

For now, the technical specifications of the new Xbox really do put it on top of the PS4 Pro and it definitely is the most powerful console at the moment.

To make sure the power of the Xbox One X doesn’t overheat the system itself, Microsoft is also using a liquid-cooled vapor chamber, a first of its kind cooling system on a console. These cooling systems are mostly used on very powerful PCs to keep them cool and running.

Apart from announcing the Xbox One X console, Microsoft also revealed tons of titles coming to their console family which includes names like Forza Motorsport 7, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves and much more.

In order to get the best out of Xbox One X, you’ll need a 4k television. And in Pakistan 4k televisions are still too expensive to be within the reach of common people.

But even if you don’t have a 4K television, Microsoft has promised that you’ll see every single game you play on the One X with better results even on a normal 1080p television.

The Xbox One X is all set to launch on November 7. will you be getting it over the PS4 or your current Xbox One?
