Pepsi and Cricingif partnered to bring Pakistan’s first ever virtual reality cricket game. The game was available to try throughout the weekend in Lahore as many people flocked to check out what the two had to offer.
The launching ceremony which was called the ‘activation’ of the game took place on 19th May and lasted until 21st May.
The virtual reality game is also part of Pepsi’s Future 11 campaign where they are trying to find new talent for Pakistani cricket. Pepsi will be grooming these players to make them part of the Pakistani team in the future.
As far as the virtual reality game goes, it was created to help Pepsi connect with the fans of cricket on a whole new level. The game will give people an opportunity to see what it feels like walking on the pitch amongst thousands of fans.
Several challenges were provided to players replicating the real world achievements by players. Players can also become a bowler and try their hand at spinning the bowl or bowling at high speed.
