Following the massive success of talent shows like Coke Studio, Nescafe Basement and Levi’s Live, the Punjab Government has launched a similar talent hunt platform ‘Alhamara Unplugged.
The platform aims to bring together Pakistani youth and give them a chance to show their talent in a coke studio-like setting.
Perhaps the biggest attraction of the show is the return of the ‘Justin Sisters’. The sisters have been brought onboard to do a studio recording with help of other talented musicians in a live session.
The Justin Sisters astonished the world with their version of Justin Beiber’s ‘Baby’. Some believed that it was even better than the original version of the song.

Alhamra Unplugged is a project of Alhamara Arts Council, Lahore backed by the Government of Punjab.
The first season of the show was launched on 1st of April with a ceremony that took place inside the iconic hall. The event was attended by a huge crowd and various musicians and singers entertained them with their talent.
It was hosted by seasoned hosts Zohaib Azhar and Zarmeen. Legendary singer Arif Lohar was also present on the occasion to appreciate the efforts of Alhamara Arts Council for providing such a platform for the youth.
Alhamara Unplugged will air their episodes on Ary Zindigi, 8XM, Jalwa, A Plus, Lahore News and PTV Home. The second episode is set to release on this Friday.
