The former captain and all-rounder visited a construction site to enjoy lunch with workers most of whom also his fans.

Afridi works through his charity organization Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) to help people in need around the world.

He recently signed a treaty with United Arab Emirates authorities to help the release of Pakistan prisoners.

With the treaty, about 30 Pakistani prisoners who were detained for various small crimes in Dubai were sent back to Pakistan to start new lives.

By grace of Allah we are facilitating release of 30 prisoners for now, more will be released in coming days – Afridi
