Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Becomes Ambassador Of UK Charity

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been appointed an ambassador of the British Asian Trust (BAT). The announcement was made by Prince Charles during the Trust’s annual dinner at the Guildhall.

The announcement was made by Prince Charles also because he is the current president of the British Asian Trust. More than 450 supporters and ambassadors of the said organization attended the annual dinner.

The Duchess of Cornwall was also one of the attendees of the dinner. The dinner was held to raise funds that would help the organization. The event was able to raise £850,000 for the Trust which will be used for different projects across South Asia.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also performed during the event. The stage was later joined by famed producer ‘Naughty Boy’ on the stage and both won the hearts of the audience together.

Talking to the press, Rahat expressed his delight over the fact that Prince Charles announced him one of the ambassadors of the Trust. From now on, Rahat will be working closely with the British Asian Trust to make sure they are successful in transforming lives across the South Asian Region.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was also recently given an award at the Oxford University. He was also recently present at the Nobel Peace Price ceremony to perform. During this time, he was also awarded a lifetime achievement award in London.
