Pakistan Test Captain Misbah-Ul-Haq announced this Sunday that he will be bearing half of the expenses incurred for his Fan’s treatment.
His fan, Rohaan from Lahore is young boy passionate about cricket. For all his life he has followed Misbah’s career very closely. He loves him so much that he remembers his debut match, all of the centuries he has scored and every other achievement Misbah has earned throughout.
Unfortunately, he suffers from a hole in the heart which makes it unable for him to play cricket, something he direly loves.
His parents, belonging to a poor background are not able to arrange the funds required for the medical treatment of the boy.
Just when they thought they couldn’t win the battle for their boy’s health, a news strip was run on a local news channel which grabbed the attention of Pakistani captain, Misbah.
Misbah will now share half of the expenses of the treatment of Rohaan. In order to arrange for the funds, Misbah has also put up his bat and shirt for auction. Funds collected from the auction will go directly to the treatment of Rohaan.
Upon hearing this news, Rohaan was very happy and excited that his hero is willing to help him on the road to recovery.
This particular move by Misbah has increased the respect he has within Pakistan and as a national captain.
