Starting from the 4th of November, telecommunication giants Telenor and Ufone will start letting users pre-order Apple’s latest and greatest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Ufone Will Begin Pre-orders On November 4th
The smartphones will start making an appearance at the service centers of Ufone in most major cities. Cities include Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Peshawar and Sialkot from the 11th of November.
Once the sets are available, you should be able to get them from Ufone by visiting their service center or by going through their online phone devices portal.
The price is still a mystery
Unfortunately, the prices of both the smartphones in Pakistan yet remains a mystery. The Apple iPhone 7 is being sold at a starting price of $649 in the US. Expect a similar or higher price in Pakistan when they finally arrive.
Currently, if you buy an iPhone 7 from a local retailer, you can fetch one for around RS 85,000.
As far as Telenor goes, no official announcement has been made about when the phone will be available and how much it will cost. If you visit their website, all you can see is a splash page telling you that iPhone 7 is coming soon:
Other telecommunication networks such as Zong and Mobolink haven’t made any announcements of bringing iPhone into their handset list. But expect them to join the fray too.
