The Harry Potter Spinoff Will Be Five Movies Long

JK Rowling approved

Good news Potterheads! Now you can sit down and relax because you will be seeing witches and wizards for the next few years.

The movie Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is now going to be a 5 part movie.

The first movie is set to release next month on the 17th. While a sequel of the movie was already confirmed by the production studio Warner Bros, JK Rowling has said that she wrote the script for 5 movies.

In a recent promotional event held in London’s Leicester Square, Rowling said she’s ‘Pretty Sure’ that the story is long enough to fill five movies.

The Fantastic Beasts movie is set in New York and unfolds a tale of a fictional author mentioned in the Harry Potter series.

The main character, Newt Scamander is an animal loving person who lives in the secret community of witches and wizards in New York.

According to the producers, the film is set 70 years before Harry Potter read the book in Hogwarts.

Before she announced it to be a 5 part movie, Rowling already knew that there would be a trilogy.

We always knew it was going to be more than one movie, and we said a trilogy as a place holder. But I’ve done the plotting properly and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be five movies.
