Top Gear Fans, are you ready for the return of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond?
The trio is returning in a new motor show by Amazon Prime. They also released a sweet little trailer which you can watch below.
The trailer is kind of secretive but judging by the muscle power shown in the teaser along with varied landscapes, we are quite sure fans of Top Gear will find exactly what they were looking for. It also seems like the format of the show will be reincarnated in the Grand Tour.
The show is set to launch on November 18, 2016 on Amazon Prime.
Jeremy Clarkson was removed from Top Gear Last Year
The BBC, original creators of Top Gear had to renew Top Gear without Jeremy Clarkson last year.
Tony Hall, the director general of the show expressed ‘Great Regret’ following a proper investigation under the matter which found that Clarkson was involved in a physical assault on the show’s producer Oisin Tymon which lead him to the hospital.
In an official statement by BBC, following was announced.
It is with great regret that I have told Jeremy Clarkson today that the BBC will not be renewing his contract. It is not a decision I have taken lightly. I have done so only after a very careful consideration of the facts and after personally meeting both Jeremy and Oisin Tymon. Given the obvious and very genuine public interest in this I am publishing the findings of his report. I take no pleasure in doing so. I am only making them public so people can better understand the background. I know how popular the programme is and I also know that this decision will divide opinion. The main facts are not disputed by those involved.
Following the termination of Clarkson’s contract, fellow hosts Richard Hammond and James May also quit Top Gear, saying:
we are very much the three of us a package. that will require a lot of careful thought.
After that the trio was picked by Amazon Prime for an exclusive show The Grand Tour.
