Yuri Van Gelder who is a Dutch gymnast was expelled from the Rio Olympics for breaking a serious team rule by going out to drink and celebrate his victory. The 33 year old Olympian went out in the late hours to spend the night partying and drinking over qualifying for the finals. Too bad he won’t be a part of the finals anymore.

Venue Worker Proposes Olympian Isadora Cerullo
Right after Australia won the first women’s rugby seven gold in the history, a venue worker, entered the playing round and proposed Isadora Cerullo from Brazil.
Enya is a 28 year old manger at the venue where the games took place. She went in, took a microphone and gave out an emotional speech. The two then embraced and there was plenty of applause.
Olympians From North And South Korea Posing Together For Selfie
Relations between South and North Korea can easily be compared to Pakistan and India. Both have had a history of rough relations with each other. But during the Rio Olympics 2016, two female olympians from South and North Korea, Hong Un-Jung and Lee Eun-ju posed together for a selfie.
Pool Water Turns Green At The Rio Olympics 2016
The pool water at one of the venues in Rio turned green and started confusion amongst people. Even though the green shade of the water was unnnatural, management said that it did not pose any threat. At least one Olympian complained that they could not see their partner underwater due to the unnatural shade.
The problem was suspected due to a problematic water quality or faulty filter
Olympian Paul George Had Some Trouble Throwing A Cup Away
Paul George who plays for Team USA in basketball had trouble throwing a piece of trash. He drank water from a cup, threw it away, then picked it up again and hid it under his seat.

After drinking, he can be seen throwing the cup behind him.
After throwing the cup, he moved on but turned back to see why no one else was picking the cup after him to throw it away.
He then came back, picked the cup up and hid it under his seat.
