Pokemon Go, the extremely viral video game is taking the entire world by storm. If you’ve been active on your Facebook or Twitter, you probably have seen a lot of posts floating on about Pokemon Go.
Pokemon Go Debuted last week in select countries, which means it still isn’t available in most parts of the world. Currently the game is only available in Australia, Germany, New Zealand and United States. For those of you who are impatient like us, you can still unofficially play Pokemon Go in Pakistan. Here’s how:
For Android Users:
- Download the APK file of the game on your device or your computer
- Go to your downloads folder using a file explorer. A good file explorer like this
- If you downloaded on your PC, transfer the APK to your device and use the file explorer to find the APK on your device
- Tap on the file and let it install
- You’re ready to play the game!
For iPhone Users:
- Go to App Store and tap on your Apple ID
- Now Tap sign out
- Tap on the settings app on your desktop
- Go to general
- Go to language and region settings situated at the bottom
- Tap region
- Check United States
- Go back to the Appstore and visit the Pokemon Go App listing. If the region is still set to another country other than U.S, tap on the change store button
- Tap on Get button
- Now you will be prompted to create a new Apple store ID
- Make sure you check the U.S button when signing up a new account
- Ignore the billing information for now
- Follow the steps until you reach the verification part
- Now download Pokemon Go
- Login to iTunes using your new Apple ID and you are ready to play!
About Pokemon Go
Pokemon Go is an augmented reality game which combines the real world with a fantasy world. You take on your mobile phone, turn on the game and walk around to find Pokemon in real world locations. You can then tap the capture button to capture a Pokemon and then train it.
You can also customize your trainer by choosing apparel and accessories. These are only cosmetic changes to your character and does not change the gameplay.
