Emporium Mall, Pakistan’s largest mall after Dolmen Karachi and Centaurus Islamabad has just opened its doors to public in Lahore today. The mall consists of 11 stories spread across a whopping 2.7 million square feet has been the focus of many lahoris for several years.
Today the mall has finally opened up to the public. The construction cost of the mall was Rs. 22 billion and it is owned by Nishat Group. The mall also hosts the largest food court in Pakistan coupled with a nine screen cinema complex, several restaurants, a 110-room five star hotel and banquet halls. The largest Hyperstar outlet is also part of this mall.
The Emporium Mall is also Pakistan’s first ever to use solar panels for back up power. The mall is based just beside the Expo Center in Johar town and is open for public from 10 am to 10 pm.
Emporium Mall is new and hence it still doesn’t have many brands and outlets inside. But the management have invited international brands from France and Italy to inspect the space in hopes of opening their official outlets in Pakistan.
