Activision has just released new images featuring the popular Kit Harington of Game of Thrones during his motion capture session for his villainous role in the upcoming video game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Harington is known for his iconic role Jon Snow in HBO’s titanic Game of Thrones series. In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Harrington is playing Admiral Salen Kotch, the bad guy of the game.
Since Activision chose to work with Harington, you can easily assume that the villain Kotch will have a significant role to play in the video game.
According to Activision, Harington’s character will doggedly pursue the player until the end where they will face each other in a dramatic confrontation.
The released images are from a performance being captured in London, and according to sources, the stage doesn’t belong to Infinity Ward’s office, the developer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Here’s what the narrative director of the game had to say about Harington taking on the role of Kotch:
Kit is portraying a character who is a notable character in the Settlement Defense Front, so he, in many ways, is the face, or one of the main faces, of the enemy,” Kurosaki explained. “And through him, you will know what makes them tick, what they’re all about, the depths to which they’ll go to realize their objective. It was great working with him because he had never played a bad guy before. And I think it was the opportunity for him to play that guy was one that he relished. He totally ran with it and he just got into that character and got into that whole mindset of the Settlement Defense Front
Infinite War is all set to launch on November 4 on Xbox One, PC and PS4. There will also be a remastered edition of COD: Modern Warfare
