Assassin’s Creed fans the wait is over! The AC movie now has its first trailer released. It shows off the main character played by Michael Fassbender and the present and past storylines, just like in the games.
The movie however will take a different approach by telling a completely different story within the Assassin’s Creed universe. But from the trailer, it is apparent that the movie is heavily inspired from the first AC game in the series.
The plot follows a young man (Callum Lynch, played by Fassbender) is kidnapped from his everyday life by Abstergo and is placed in the Animus machine which gives them access to the memories of his ancestors. The project can be seen handled by Alan Rikkin, Abstergo’s boss and a female lab technician.
After the first few seconds of the trailer, it moves into the distant past where the main character’s ancestor takes control. The trailer shows the Assassin taking people out, jumping across buildings and hanging out with his buddies. Back in the present day, Fassbender starts to go through the ‘Bleeding Effect’ which makes him start gaining the abilities of the Assassins. The trailer then shows Fassbender trying to escape from his prison.
